After a bit of a wobble and a cry when I first arrived in hospital on Monday, today has been a much better day. I'm still not sure of the plan at all, so no updates on that front unfortunately- at the moment I'm waiting for a PICC line placement so that we can start some nutrition directly into my veins (known as parenteral nutrition/PN). I won't be having my surgery anywhere in the near future unfortunately though, but that can wait for now until it's safe to do so.
I'd love to say I feel better...but I woke up being sick this morning and managed to fill a sick bowl in record time- not something I'm proud of or want to try and beat!π Hopefully I'll get to see my consultant sometime this week so we can get an idea of what the plan is and I can get my head around things.
After being a bit emotionally exhausted yesterday, I desperately needed to kick my butt into gear and managed to make a start on that today. For me, writing is such an enjoyable thing to do. If I'm worried I write, if I'm stressed I'll write, if I'm happy I'll probably write too. ππ»ββοΈThere's a small window by my bed and drip stand that brought in some sunlight this afternoon so I rearranged my bed space a little so that I could sit with my laptop in the sunlight and get stuck into some writing. π
True to form, I felt so much better after finishing a blog for my sponsors Global Herbs (talking all things Daisy the Dinosaur) and attending a Womens Sport Trust webinar. I learnt so much and love being a part of their Game Changers #UNLOCKED programme πͺπΌ
Other than a bit of exhaustion from all of the motivation of today, I feel about a stone lighter from all the upset I was carrying around on my shoulders that I seem to have offloaded for now and I'm ready to have another productive day, putting this time in hospital to good use with some fun and exciting things for my Foundation coming soon!π€

My day was definitely made my watching a video my mum sent of her hacking Daisy in the beautiful weather- it was SO good to see those ginger ears againπ I'm only at the beginning of the journey so far in hospital, but every good thing has to start somewhere and this will all be so worthwhile to see and ride Daisy again, she's my reason to #FindAWayNotAnExcuse
